We use prepositions of place to say where someone or something is.

On, under, in front of, behind, beside, next to, near, at, in, between, among. (em, sob, em frente a, atrás, do lado, ao lado, perto, em, entre; usamos between para falar de algo que está entre duas coisas ou pessoas e among entre três coisas ou pessoas.)
